  1. We invite you to participate in our ongoing research on the Quality of Life for Prostate Cancer patients and survivors. You can access the study through the link provided below or by visiting nscancer.ca. Our research focuses on assessing the quality of life for both prostate cancer and breast cancer patients and survivors at any stage of their survivorship journey after diagnosis. The study involves taking an online survey every six months for the first two years and then annually thereafter. To be eligible, participants should have a history of prostate cancer or breast cancer diagnosis, be able to read and understand English, and reside in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, or PEI, Canada.

Pictou County PEP is a dynamic 6-month program led by Dr. Gabriela Ilie and Dr. Rob Rutledge, designed to bring individuals affected by chronic disease closer together. Through monthly LIVE Zoom check-ins, community activities, daily emails, and videos, we focus on fostering physical and mental well-being. This program covers various health-promoting components, including exercise, stress reduction, self-compassion, dietary recommendations, sleep hygiene, relationship building, and healing attitudes.
