In waiting rooms or support groups, you might not see anyone who looks like you. You may be asking:

Why me?

Will I still be able to have sex? To have children?

How do I go back to work like nothing happened?

At PC-PEP, we want you to know: you’re not alone. Your diagnosis doesn’t define you. You still have options, support, and a powerful future ahead.

Challenges Younger Men Often Face

Fertility and Family Planning: Younger men may still be growing families. Radiation or surgery can affect fertility, making early sperm banking or fertility discussions crucial.

Career Pressure: Balancing work, treatment, and recovery can be overwhelming. Fear of falling behind or losing your job is real — and isolating.

Sexual Health and Identity: Erectile changes, low libido, or loss of ejaculation can affect confidence and identity. Many men equate masculinity with performance — PC-PEP helps reframe that.

Emotional and Social Impact: Anxiety, shame, or depression can appear when you feel like the “odd one out.” Most men your age haven’t faced cancer yet — but you don’t have to face it alone.

Lack of Representation: Few studies, clinics, or support groups center the younger prostate cancer experience. PC-PEP is changing that through mentorship, research, and community storytelling.

How PC-PEP Helps Younger Men

The Prostate Cancer Patient Empowerment Program (PC-PEP) is a free, 6-month, home-based program designed to help men heal and adapt across physical, emotional, mental, and sexual dimensions.

You’ll find what younger men need most:

Clear, actionable information — no jargon, just practical guidance.

Privacy and flexibility — learn and heal from home, on your schedule.

Connection — with peers, mentors, and clinicians who understand your stage of life.

Confidence — tools that strengthen your body, mindset, and relationships.

What You’ll Get

Daily videos and emails guiding exercise, pelvic-floor training, mindfulness, and nutrition.

Evidence-based sexual-health education to support erectile recovery and confidence.

Stress-management tools for anxiety, focus, and resilience.

Access to younger peer mentors who’ve completed PC-PEP and now give back.

Optional one-on-one support from our doctors and research team.

All free, all science-based, all designed to meet you where you are.

Voices of Younger PC-PEP Participants

“I was 44.
